Post-fire impacts on hydrological and land-surface processes

First, the impact of wildfires on the land-surface biogeophysical properties, such as soil hydraulic conductivity and vegetation type, was identified and parameterized. Then, the impact of post-wildfire conditions on weather forecasting was investigated by considering post-wildfire land-surface conditions in the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model.
