Haonan Guo joined the Civil Engineering Department at Montana State University in August 2024. Haonan gained extensive research experience during his undergraduate studies through his research on erosion in the Loess Plateau. In 2020, he continued his work on actual land surface evapotranspiration at the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In daily life, Haonan has a passion for soccer and guitar, and hope to pursue deeper research and studies on land surface processes in Montana.
At Montana State University, my goal is to integrate snow processes with land surface models to conduct in-depth mechanistic research.
